Megan has been so compassionate, caring, and on top of everything he needed even when she wasn't his nurse for the day.
Some people come into your life for a specific reason, even if it is only for a glimpse of time. She has been nothing short of amazing for us this week while caring for our husband, dad, and grandfather. He is the center of our worlds and having to say goodbye to him this week as he heads to be with God has been awful, but we have been able to make it through this week with Megan at our side. Megan has been so compassionate, caring, and on top of everything he needed even when she wasn't his nurse for the day. She continually checked on him and us. She is also a very strong and willing person when it comes to being an advocate for her patient. If he needed anything we all said, “Don't worry Megan is in charge of you; she will get it done.”
Megan, thank you so much for the love, support, care, and compassion you have shown our family this week. We wish you the very best in life. We hope to never have to come back to the hospital for this reason, but we know which nurse we will always want if we have to come. Thank you for the work you do each day.
