I recently experienced a fall which resulted in a broken hip. I was taken to Allegheny General Hospital for surgery. After my stay at AGH, I was transported for rehabilitation to St. Barnabas Nursing Home in Gibsonia, PA. I had the good fortune, during my stay at AGH, to have an outstanding nurse during my short stay there, Megan Reskovac.
Megan was caring, efficient and super organized. She anticipated my every need before I could make a request and coordinated my transfer to St. Barnabas without any difficulties. During my stay at AGH and St. Barnabas, I did not encounter another nurse that I felt met the professionalism and caring traits as Megan did. She is so deserving of the DAISY Award.
