Megan was one of the many wonderful staff members in the CCU during my father’s hospital stay. He liked all of his nurses and techs but he really took to Megan. She cared for him on and off during his stay. Even when she wasn't his nurse she was making sure to pop her head in and check on how he was doing. She made sure to explain everything in detail to my family through the progression of his stay, always having a positive attitude and offering all the support we could ask for. Knowing he was surrounded by nothing but love and compassion was comforting. Thank you for caring.

What a wonderful and caring special service nurse Megan provided to my wife during her stay. My dear wife was rushed to the hospital with pneumonia and a number of physical problems. She was in very bad condition. We were told by the doctors that my wife was very sick and that it was possible that she could be in serious health trouble. My wife suffers from limited memory ability and is not able to fully understand and respond to the steps required for her care. Megan was so understanding and able to help my wife understand and feel better about her situation. I think Megan greatly contributed to my wife's wonderful improvement and possibly resulted in her movement to a regular patient room. My wife thinks so much of Megan and so do I and my family since she has been so nice and kept us fully aware of what was going on. Megan’s ability to perform in such a compassionate, kind, and even loving manner is so commendable and surely worthy of recognition. My family and I will never forget Megan, and we believe she is a credit to Carroll Hospital.
