Megan was amazing throughout my entire stay! She helped/taught my husband how to change his first diaper, gave us numerous tips and tricks for newborn care. She was very attentive and was always on time for giving me my medication. She explained everything she was doing when checking me and the baby. She even stayed a little longer after her shift was over to answer our questions and to see if we needed anything. She always had a smile on her face, and we looked forward to seeing her every night. You can tell she prides herself in patient care. She always made sure to tell the day nurses if we had any requests and made sure they were up to date on my care. Both mine and my husband's family noticed how attentive she was, and we raved about her to them all the time. She was by far our favorite nurse. We wanted to take her home with us.

You could tell that our newborn daughter felt very comfortable around Megan. When I had trouble swallowing one of my big pain pills, she searched high and low to find a pill cutter and she made sure to tell the other nurses about my special requests. I truly believe this award was made for our amazing nurse Megan Scott! She is not only skillful and compassionate, she is genuine, knowledgeable and enjoys helping her patients and their families. Megan gave us encouragement and made us feel we could successfully tackle taking care of a newborn. Her support helped us both physically and mentally. Megan deserves this award and so much more!
