Megan Sieber, RN
After a serious accident left me hospitalized with multiple injuries, I entered rehab feeling overwhelmed, vulnerable, and uncertain about the road ahead. Megan quickly became more than just my nurse-she became a source of comfort, strength, and faith during one of the hardest moments of my life.
What makes Megan so special is how relatable and genuine she is. She never made me feel like just another patient on her list. She took the time to sit with me, talk with me, and truly listen. Her kindness and compassion made me feel seen as a person, not just someone recovering from injuries.
Megan also shared her faith openly in a natural, uplifting way. When I felt discouraged or scared about my recovery, she reminded me of God's grace and strength. Those conversations meant more to me than she probably realizes. Her faith gave me hope when I needed it most.
Beyond her compassion, Megan is an incredible advocate for her patients. She paid attention to the details of my care, spoke up when something didn't seem right, and made sure my needs were addressed. Knowing she was looking out for me gave me a sense of safety and trust during a time when I felt very vulnerable.
Megan embodies what nursing should be-skillful, compassionate, faith-filled, and deeply human. I will never forget how she cared for me, supported me, and lifted my spirits. She truly deserves recognition as a DAISY nurse.
