During my husband’s week-long stay at Newton Medical Center, Nurse Megan Sloyer provided an extraordinary level of care that went far beyond expectations. From the start, Megan took a genuine, personal interest in his case, determined to understand why the initial diagnosis wasn’t aligning with his symptoms. She continually advocated on his behalf, going behind the scenes to consult with doctors and explore alternative explanations, ensuring he received the most accurate and effective treatment possible.

Megan’s professionalism and clinical expertise were matched only by her compassion and warmth. She had a remarkable ability to connect on a personal level, always taking time to listen, to explain, and to make sure my husband felt seen and supported. She was attentive to every detail, noticing when he was struggling and acting quickly to address his discomfort or concerns.
