Megan handled a cord prolapse OB STAT with such grace, expertise, and professionalism. She quickly realized the medical emergency and saved the baby's life by acting quickly and efficiently. She gently held the baby's head (while the baby was still in the birth canal) to relieve the pressure placed on the prolapse cord, while calming, leading the rest of the team, and keeping mom and dad calm. She remained in this position until the child was delivered via emergent C-section. Her quick action, leadership, and dedication to her craft truly saved this child's life.
