I had the pleasure of working with Megan in the unit. We were caring for a critically ill patient and her care was OUTSTANDING. The patient was complicated and no less than 25 family members were present throughout the day. She handled the situation with excellent care and was genuinely caring with the family. The decision was made to withdraw care and her actions including communicating with the physicians, RTs, chaplains, and families was exemplary. The patient was made comfortable and Megan did a great job caring for him and allowing him to be peaceful. I am proud to be part of a care team with nurses like her and I know the family will forever appreciate Megan's care in this difficult time.
