My fiancé has been in ICU for 2 weeks now and Megan has by far been the most amazing nurse he has had, and he has had many. She is so friendly and personable and in these hard times of being isolated away from family related to COVID restrictions, she has made me feel so safe and secure about my fiancé's care. She takes her time on the phone to give me updates. Never rushes me off the phone because she is too busy. Never makes me feel like a burden for calling and checking on him. Always answers my questions to the best of her abilities. She always brings up any concerns or questions I have for the doctors on his team during rounds. She advocates for what is best for my fiancé and treats him like he is her own family.
Megan has taken the time to get to know not only my fiancé but me as well and in this emotional roller coaster, she has brought so much peace and ease to me. I do not worry about him when she is on shift because I know she has his best interest at heart. It's hard to find a nurse that is not only book smart but also has an excellent bedside manner and Megan has it. I cannot thank her enough for everything she has done for him and my family. Thank you!
