Megan was always positive and when she felt I was down, she reassured me I was going to see the other side of this Covid pneumonia.
As a nurse, it's always challenging when you send a family member to the hospital for care. We can be very critical of what goes on. However, when we sent my dad to the hospital, we had no idea how blessed we would be. From the moment I met Megan, I had 100% faith in the care my dad would receive. She became family in a matter of minutes and displayed compassion and care above and beyond what I could have ever dreamed for. She got to know my dad even though he was extremely ill; you could tell he trusted and liked her. She learned about our family and what our goals were for him. She always kept us informed of what was going on and called us in to help if we needed it.

Megan facilitated visits for my mom who has dementia and let her spend precious moments with our dad. She even requested to have dad as a patient again after she had been off a few days which made us thankful and happy. We hoped we would be able to take dad home to spend his last days with our mom, but God didn't have that in His plan and decided to take him home earlier than expected. While we were all racing to get there, our precious angel, Megan, spent her morning time with Dad and "sang him to glory". She knew his love for Christ and his years of ministry and gave him an amazing send-off. She will always have a special place in our hearts and I personally want to thank Megan for her care, her heart, and her love of her job and our family. We love her big!

Megan was my rockstar nurse! She was so positive and motivational. If it wasn't for her, I would not have pushed through as quickly as I did. She sat with me and reassured me I was going to go home to my babies. She asked about my family and she shared about her own. That level of a one-to-one connection made me feel she really cared about me and my well-being! Megan is the best! I wish I could hug her one last time before I left. Megan was always positive and when she felt I was down, she reassured me I was going to see the other side of this Covid pneumonia. Her personality is infectious.
