Megan always goes above and beyond for her patients. One day that stands out is when she was taking care of a baby that had hyperbilirubinemia. An order was received for supplementation. The baby's mother was disappointed as she wanted to exclusively breastfeed. Megan suggested they try a supplemental nursing system. The mom was happy to be given an alternative to bottle feeding as her goal was to exclusively breastfeed. Megan created an SNS, they tried it out and it worked great! The baby got what she needed and the mom's goals were supported as well.
