Megan always has such a positive attitude and is great to work with. She sets a great example for all nurses on the unit. An example is a patient that was having a difficult, long, length of stay away from home, mentioned that all she wanted was to have her nails painted. Megan went out of her way to call oncology to see if she could paint this patient's nails. She then came in on her next day off to give the patient a manicure and pedicure. The patient was in tears and so grateful for the act of kindness and enjoyed showing off her French pedicure. It was one of those things that made her feel better about her appearance, as cancer had caused so many body changes.
