Every time I have called with a simple, maybe stupid, question she is always is so friendly and helpful and never makes me feel like I am being a bother. I had called in one Friday because I was super sick, and being pregnant limits you on what you can take for medicine. I broke down and started crying because I just felt so miserable. I didn’t know what to do. Megan was so kind and gave me simple, easy instructions and “words of encouragement.” The next week, I went into the office to grab our gender reveal envelope from the receptionist. It wasn’t up with the others. She called back to Megan, and she came out with it in hand. She wanted to give it to me in person to check in on me to see if I was feeling better. I thought that small and simple gesture was just so over the top and unexpected. Her patience and kindness since my first conversation with her about our miscarriage to the last conversation with her checking in to make sure I was feeling better have just been nothing short of her going “above and beyond.” The world needs more nurses like her!
