I have spent a great deal of my life in and out of varies hospitals and on many of the units within this hospital. I was so impressed with Nurse Megan leading the way coordinating the unit's teamwork, from the nurses to dietary ensuring I had a pleasant and comfortable stay.
Nurse Megan showed compassion and knowledge making sure I felt safe and confident and in good hands. She truly seems to love being a nurse and it shows with the care and dedication she displayed while caring for me. At times I was very impolite and challenging, shouting at her to move my leg over here, not there over here, move the pillow, place it back, then minutes later after she had just left my room I would put on my call light saying I need to be repositioned. Of course, I was not being considerate of her time or her other patients but instead of being offended, Megan kindly and calmly explained that she was here to take care of me and my needs.
Megan always kindly knocked on my door before entering my room stating, "This is Megan may I come in". She displays the most contagious smile, kindheartedness, and consideration. She would perform her tasks with a cheerful attitude and never once complained. I cannot say enough about Megan. She made me feel as if I was the most important patient and I am sure Nurse Megan makes other patients at the Harper Hospital feel the same way. Thank you for being an amazing nurse!
