Megan was at home relaxing on her front porch with her infant son when her neighbor yelled for help. Megan, without second-guessing, yelled for her husband to watch their son and she ran to help. Her neighbor's son, 3 years old, had fallen into the pool and was unresponsive. Megan immediately started rescue breaths while her husband assisted with compressions. Due to Megan and her husband's heroic efforts, that little boy regained a pulse and has made a FULL recovery.
Megan always goes above and beyond for her patients, but this shows that even when she isn't at work she goes above and beyond to save a life and help anyone she comes in contact with. I think this shows how extraordinary, compassionate, and amazing of a nurse that she is!
