Megan not only demonstrated professionalism and care with my father's medical needs, but was emotional support to him and me. In trying to understand the different facets of my father's medical issues, Megan patiently answered our questions honestly and in layman terms. While all staff in that section has been good, Megan truly made us feel that my father's well-being was just as important to her as it is to us. I was saddened when her shift ended.
Returning from her time off, Megan was assigned to the same section, but not to my father's room; Megan still found time to comfort and provide for his needs and check on me.
Caring for aging parents, ensuring proper care and safety, can be stressful and overwhelming; Megan has a natural calming and caring presence. She is truly an extraordinary nurse and person!
