Megha has a way of understanding what patients are going through.
During a self-examination, I discovered a lump in my right breast, and it stopped me in my tracks. I previously had undergone yearly scans and ultrasounds which revealed nothing of significance, with the latest being December 2020. Soon I was officially diagnosed with breast cancer. Megha not only manifests the traits and knowledge required in her profession, but she does so with an abundance of heart and kindness. Simply stated, she is amazing. She has taught me volumes about compassion and vulnerability. She is dedicated to helping cancer patients who are receiving chemotherapy. She takes great pride in her work, and she is exceptional. She has a way of understanding what patients are going through. She has lifted me up so many times I have lost count. I will never know how to properly thank her for being part of the team that saved my life. I can honestly say that I am grateful that through this horrible disease Megha has come into my life. I do not know what I would have done without her. It is impossible to describe how a person I did not know from the beginning of treatment could become so important to me. Megha deserves to be honored as a DAISY Nurse because she IS extraordinary, and I am so blessed that she is my nurse.
