Meghan represents everything extraordinary that a nurse is. When we are patients in the hospital, we are very vulnerable. It is a stressful and worrisome time, and we rely on the care of the doctors and nurses. Meghan immediately put us at ease. She assured us that she would answer all of our questions and explain in detail so we could understand. She was cheerful and upbeat, and she never made us feel like we were imposing on her. She fully understood our worry about the PICC line, and she assured us of its benefit. Meghan’s care, patience, and knowledge enabled us to go home with a sense of peace about undertaking this task.
