The following was written about Meghan by a patient’s daughter:
My Dad is in the hospital right now with meningitis and has been at Oakwood for a week now. ALL of the nursing staff is fantastic. Everyone has taken great care of my father and it helps put my mind at ease when I'm not there, to know that these people are there for him. Meghan was his nurse a couple of times while he was on the 9th floor and she really took the time to get to know him. She went above and beyond to make him comfortable, even to just listen to his silly jokes. Meghan, as well as all the nursing staff, has been great answering all of my and my family’s questions and made sure not only that my father was comfortable, but that we were as well. He got transferred back down to ICU yesterday and even though Meghan was not caring for my dad that day, she came down to talk to him and see him down to ICU. She didn't have to do that and it was really, really nice that she did. Meghan’s sister, Katie was his first nurse in ICU yesterday and she was really great too; all of the ICU nurses have been fantastic. I could go on and on but I cannot thank you enough for taking such good care of him and making this rough time just a little easier. THANK YOU OAKWOOD NURSING STAFF!!!
