A patient went to the ED after suffering from a stroke. She and her husband were blown away by Meghan Pearson's caring nature and willingness to listen to their concerns and calm their fears. Not only did she provide great clinical care, but she also took time to listen to her as a person. Meghan ensured this patient had a smooth transition to Rehab where she received treatment to regain mobility and strength. The patient was present for the award ceremony and was so thankful Meghan had been chosen for the award as she felt she was truly deserving and went above and beyond for her in a time of fear and uncertainty.
