Meghan Ray, RN

Meghan works nights in CVICU. She arrived to work and assumed care of her open-heart patient. Shortly after, the patient had a rapid decline in condition. It was Meghan's critical thinking and efficient handling of her patient that ensured his survival. I was not there; however, the surgeon came to me to praise the actions and quick thinking that Meghan displayed. She was able to alert MD, delegate, and quickly put into play all the things necessary to safely care for this emergency. While Meghan reported to work that night, little did she know just how important a part she would play in her patient's life. Thank you, Meghan, for your amazing critical care!
