Meghan Weed, RN

Meghan Weed is a labor and delivery nurse at Maine Medical Center that truly exemplifies what nursing is and should always be. As a nurse myself, I can tell you compassion and empathy come very naturally to her. She demonstrated love and kindness in my most vulnerable moment. Delivering my baby was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, and a slight complication at the end turned it into the scariest. She handled the situation with grace and professionalism and she put my needs before hers all night. She got the doctors and teams there quickly when things started progressing but I have all the confidence in the world that she could have delivered my baby herself. I am so thankful and blessed she was there the night my little one decided to make her entrance into this world and I know future moms will feel the same in her care. Thank you.
