Meghan is a very organized, caring, and professional nurse who will go far and beyond. She is definitely in the right profession; we need more nurses like her. Meghan is the bomb. I am so lucky to have had Meghan today. She is fantabulous!! She was beyond attentive. She was so knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and made me feel so at ease. She accessed my port painlessly. She is kind and funny, and her bedside manner was wonderful. She had a way of being professional while still making me feel like family. It felt like my daughter or niece was tending to me. I joked that I wanted to take her to my room upstairs and then home with me to take care of me. She truly deserves to be awarded for her skills, bedside manner, and all-around awesomeness. Meghan and people like her are the reason I stick with Shadyside Hospital and Hillman Center even though I live in Ohio and it’s over a 2-hour drive. If I needed something she was on it. I didn’t wait for anything. She will definitely be remembered fondly by me. I wish I could have her on my speed dial for all future visits. Shadyside is exceptional, and Meghan adds to the greatness!
