Meghan Yocum is the sweetest person I have ever met. By far the best nurse I had. Even when Meghan wasn't my specific nurse, she still made it a point to come and help me out, rather than me sit and wait even longer. The day she was my nurse, my diagnosis was still up in the air and we were waiting to hear something together! Meghan made it a priority to find out what was going on. She contacted the hospital internist so we could get things figured out. At this point I was in tears, Meghan made me feel like we were in this together, she was here for me. I was missing my daughter. We laughed together and talked about our families. It was nice to have someone to talk with you instead of at you and who was not annoyed by your questions. Meghan made me feel that she had time for me, not in a hurry to move on to the next patient. I truly believe she is God's gift and is so deserving!
