Meghann McElroy, BSN, RN

I'd like to recognize Meghann for the extraordinary act she displayed. Last Friday, a woman was walking along Chestnut Street when she tripped and hit her head. Amidst a crowd of bystanders, it was Meghann who stepped up. She quickly took charge, calming the injured woman, ensuring she stayed still and promptly getting help. The woman later expressed that she didn't know what might have happened to her if Meghann hadn't been there, and she couldn't stop praising her actions. Meghann stayed by her side until she was safely in the ambulance. Meghann truly embodied Jefferson's values of "Do the right thing" and "Put people first" in her efforts. I'm immensely proud of Meghann and am honored to know her.
