I have never needed to stay in a hospital, much less experience the things I have this last week, but I can say without a doubt that Nurse Meika has been the most amazing and caring person I have come across. She lets me know everything that’s happening and makes sure I understand before she follows through with them. She tells me exactly what meds I’m going to take and the reasons for needing them. She lets me know when/what time she’s coming back to see me and always talks to me to really make sure I’m okay and everything I need I have. I called her into my room because I thought I might have messed up my drain, but with a smile on her face, she reassured me it was normal and nothing was wrong. She helped calm me down and chatted with me until I was okay. If I had more room, I could go on and on about her being great!
