Recently, I was told that my son was dying. As a healthcare worker, I can understand some of the medical terminologies. Melanie made it so that not only did I fully understand, but so did my family members. She did not talk over our heads. She was so sincere, so compassionate, so caring.
Melanie is definitely in the right field. Now that I am back at work, I hear Doctors and Nurses talking over the patients and family members. Because I knew how much it meant to me, I have actually started asking, "Could you break that down for us?"
