Melanie Miles, MSN, RN, CMSRN

I would like to nominate Melanie for the DAISY Award due to her professionalism and caring for her patients. I was a nervous wreck not having my family there, but Melanie stepped in and made sure I was okay and answered any questions I may have had regarding anything. Melanie showed compassion when handling me doing her rounds and made sure I was okay before leaving the room. Melanie was very professional with my family when they were allowed to visit during those hours before being discharged. Melanie was very knowledgeable about my instructions for going home, and she made sure I understood everything she explained. Melanie made sure I was prepared for my recovery, and she gave me very important information regarding lifestyle changes. Melanie is patient, kind, understanding, and knowledgeable, and she goes beyond her job to make sure patients are secure. Melanie is a beacon of light, and she deserves to be recognized accordingly.
