I am going on two weeks of being here. Two times Melanie has taken care of me. She is respectful and conscientious of all my needs. Always smiling with a soothing voice while conveying total assurance that I will get well. Positive, encouraging communication, wow! She truly embraces the essence of why she became a nurse. Pure compassion towards me and others. For I had walked the hallways very slowly as I walked, I saw and heard her conversing with other veterans giving them the same love and attention she had given me. I believe she was born with a truly nurturing ability on helping us veterans. I am proud of the VA administration for hiring her. Thank you.
