Melanie was nominated by patient's family members for her comprehensive and compassionate patient care as well as for her thorough and thoughtful explanations she provides to her patients and their families.
Melanie started with the ICU at Community Memorial Hospital last August. Previously she has worked on our surgical floor and also at Froedtert Hospital.
Melanie received a nomination from 2 people when she cared for who they call brother or Dad.
One of those was from WP who said "Melanie provided comprehensive and extremely compassionate care for my brother. She rearranged her personal schedule to ensure continuity of care during a pretty critical time in my brother's recovery. She was very professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable."
The next nomination was from DR who said "Melanie was so caring and kind to my dad, as well as our entire extended family. She made my 13 year old feel comfortable enough to sit with my dad for long periods. She gave hugs, explanations, and great care each and every night she was with my dad. She made a very rough week a lot easier. We appreciate all she has done for all of us."
