Melany Khamsitthisack, RN

During my stay, I found almost every RN I was assigned to be kind and compassionate. Melany was beyond that. She was always smiling, always on time, never forgot anything for me. However, beyond that, she actually put herself in my shoes. Thinking of things like using straws for all of my drinks so I didn’t have to bend my neck. She read my chart, asked questions, and thought of small ways to help me. She put meds in my mouth so I, again, would not have to bend my neck. If she did this for me, I am sure she does [these things] for all of her patients. She made a big difference for me and I was happy when she was assigned to me. As I said, I have had some wonderful nurses but Melany made me feel like I mattered [and that] I was important.
