Melba is a humble person, always active (running) and very productive. When she is on the floor she answers lights, never complains, and always has a positive attitude. When she is a meal break nurse, she makes sure everyone has a working phone, a clean phone. She also comes to the desk and asks me for leads off, and batteries for patients on the fourth floor. When she breaks the monitor tech, she files strips if it needs to or she runs strips if she breaks me, always on the time to run the strips. She will not pile up work for me, meaning if a patient comes she doesn't wait for me to do what she is supposed to do during the time I was away. She answers the phone, she helps the patient as she passes by if they ask. Very professional and knowledgeable. Melba inspires me with her charisma and kindness. An excellent nurse!
