This morning, Mindy went above and beyond to help other staff and their patients, even though she had a highly acute assignment herself. She cared for a patient who was not her own, but had fallen, ensuring that the patient received the care she deserved. When it was unclear whether another nurse was well enough to continue the day, Mindy volunteered to care for the most acute patients to ensure they received high-quality care. Mindy is always a leader on the floor. She always ensures patients are cared for and staff have the resources they need. Whether it is covering lunch for ancillary staff, calling a doctor, or coordinating testing for patients of other nurses. Mindy always does whatever is needed at the moment and always gives 110%.
