I had a lumpectomy in May. Mindy was so kind and caring from her first greeting in calling me back for surgery prep until I left for the area for the OR. She could sense I was nervous and afraid. She brought me an aromatherapy patch for my gown, brought me a warm blanket, was so precise in inserting the IV, and her overall approach exuded empathy and care. She helped me relax and gain confidence. As I recover, I am reflecting on how important her support has been to my recovery and mindset as I move forward on this journey.
