Melinda Dano, RN
Melinda is exceptional in her care of our patients. She is thorough, professional, considerate, kind, and friendly. Melinda is a great leader in nursing, both by example and as House Supervisor for all the units. She is a great team player, helping across departments with a positive, collaborative attitude. She is engaging with patients, knowledgeable, and helpful to all. Her humble approach makes it easy for others to approach her. Working the floor, Melinda shares her experience and interventions with others. She has been recognized for a High Reliability Organization “Great Catch,” by going above and beyond in assessing a patient who was in physical distress, even when the vital signs taken were not suggesting there was a problem. The actions taken by Melinda resulted in that patient getting the medical care that they needed to resolve the emergency.
