Melinda stepped into the Sleep Center at a time of growth and change. We had new providers and then 3 providers on maternity leave. She was the first RN for our program, creating many necessary patient driven tools, including lab test letters, education materials and much more.

She has quickly become an expert at discussing patient sleep concerns with families and calmly and gently helping parents understand how to help their children sleep. She is the one and only nurse for 5 providers (soon to be 7 or 8) and she appears organized and in control at any time of the day.

I listen to her on the phone with patients and she gives them accurate information while being very sensitive to the fact that this is the FIRST time the family has heard this information, even though it is the 100th time Melinda has said it.

If my children needed a nurse, I would want Melinda taking care of them. She really goes above and beyond in her compassion and dedication to her daily work!

Melinda is quite honestly the glue that keeps our Sleep Disorders Team together. She provides excellent, thorough, and timely care in person and over the phone for all our patients and provides a caring, reliable bridge of care from encounter to encounter for our families. She is dedicated to providing the best nursing care possible for a large volume of patient and a busy provider group -- when we ask her for help on something it safe to presume that the task is complete and documented.

She is a huge asset to our program and ratchets the quality and safety of care delivered to our patients up to the highest level. Plus she takes care of all the providers! We love Melinda, can't live without her....
