Mrs. Horstman would work with me almost every day to help me with pharm as I was not really understanding it, but she never gave up on me, even when I was giving up on myself.

Mrs. Horstman is one of the kindest people I have ever met. This Professor has been uplifting throughout the entire two years of nursing school. During my clinical time with her, she always takes the time to help patients understand what’s going on if they are confused or overwhelmed, takes time with each of her students to make sure they are prepared for their clinical day, answers any questions without judgment, and always makes time for you. When we first started going to clinical, she always encouraged us and calmed our nerves, helping us become more confident and comfortable at the hospital. She deserves this DAISY Award and recognition for the amazing person she is.
