We came to the ER from the rodeo finals because my dad started experiencing abdominal and lower back pain; he said he had never experienced that type of pain before. Our nurse, Melissa talked with him about his medications, and he didn't know the names or dosages that he took every day. I was able to call his pharmacy and get them and write them down for her the best that I could. Melissa took that note from me and went and wrote it out neatly and where my dad could keep it in his wallet, she did not have to do that, but we appreciated it so much, it was a very helpful thing to do. We really appreciated her, and it is always better when people act like they really care.
