Melissa's positivity, care, and support made us feel completely secure and taken care of during our stay.
Melissa throughout our entire stay was efficient, helpful, and kind. Melissa went above and beyond in her care of me and my newborn son, always going out of her way to offer anything she could to help us be comfortable. I mentioned the Covid policies at the hospital and how we had been unsure and nervous about Covid during my pregnancy; she opened up and shared her story about how she had given birth earlier this year during Covid and how it had affected her. She even went as far as showing us pictures of her (adorable) son! All of this in the middle of taking care of me. It was just so nice to be able to share my concerns with someone who was not only able to comfort me as a medical professional but also as a mother who was going through the same thing! Her positivity, care, and support made us feel completely secure and taken care of during our stay. On her way out the door, she thanked us for making her day a good one. We were absolutely floored. We were incredibly lucky to have her take care of my son and me, and I consider it a privilege to be able to nominate her for this honor. It is truly the least that I could do.
