When my newborn son was flown to NOLA and admitted, we thought he would have to have heart surgery. I was in the middle of a breakdown, not knowing what would happen to my son, Melissa made sure that I and my husband stayed informed about everything including all test results and how he was doing. Even if she did not know the answer, she found someone who did immediately. She made this horrible time a good experience. She was super nice the whole time and never once made us feel dumb for not understanding anything. She made sure I was comfortable; being as I was pumping to breastfeed and I had never done so before. Melissa helped us better prepare to take our boy home with his condition. Overall, this hospital is amazing! Best hospital I have ever taken any of my children to. Thank you to each and every one of your staff who helped make our experience good and took good care of my little baby.
