I cannot overstate how integral Melissa is to my father’s care team! She’s patient with the patient and the high-maintenance caregiver. She makes our family feel as though we are her only family or patient. She’s responsive when we call; she’s thorough in answering ALL our MANY questions; she goes above and beyond doing simple, thoughtful things/calls/coordination for us throughout the hospital to ensure everyone has the full context of Dad’s condition. Hearing her voice on the other end of the phone is calming for those juggling the stress of caring for an aging/ill loved one. She makes us believe Dad is as special to her as he is to us. She definitely puts the patient first and is extremely compassionate toward the stressed-out caregivers. I wouldn’t be able to take care of Dad without her! WE LOVE MELISSA! She is a member of our family!
