When Mrs. Belcher saw me struggling she reached out and set up a meeting with me. She knew I wasn't doing my best and that I was capable of doing so much more.
In my first year of nursing school, I failed. Most nursing classes come pretty naturally to me but this class. When Mrs. Belcher saw me struggling she reached out and set up a meeting with me. She knew I wasn't doing my best and that I was capable of doing so much more. She met with me regularly as I continued to struggle. She constantly gave me positive constructive feedback because she knew I could do more and she was right. I may have failed that year, but by the end of our meetings/class, I knew I was going to come back stronger and more confident than before. I enter year 2 and start my classes. I set up meetings with Mrs. Belcher and as we met regularly I became better in class. We discussed different methods of studying until one finally clicked. It took me half of the term to find out how to study for that class but she never gave up and continued with positive constructive feedback. She may never know who much she helped me but I will never forget.
