I brought my husband into the ED with chest pains, waiting for that massive heart attack to happen one day as Doctors have told me in the past. After a long day in the ED he went to CSU for observation and if all was well he could go home that night. It was getting late, and the Doctor said it was ok to release him, but we all know how slow discharging goes. He wanted to get home and rest, but the Doctor sent the scripts to the wrong pharmacy, and he left for the night. Melissa had called 4 doctors to try and get the script called in to Walgreen's. She went out of her way to help get this done and assist in discharging my husband. If it wasn't for her persistence he would have been there overnight, (he for sure would not have been happy). So I wanted to thank Melissa for making the transition to home manageable and timely after a long day and night!
