Oh my goodness, yesterday Melissa went above and beyond in the care of my daughter that had just had a C-Section and had a few complications! She did everything possible to make sure my daughter had the best possible care! She and her colleagues jumped into action, giving the best medicine, calling the physician to come in, and just the one on one care that she needed during that time. Her companion was second to none! She had my daughter’s best interest at heart the entire day! She suggested to the physician to get her started on a blood transfusion sooner rather than later to help with the healing process. As an associate in a hospital in Iowa, seeing the level of care and compassion that I witnessed yesterday is how I would hope a patient in our hospital would be treated! Melissa, you are one in a million! Keep up the incredible nursing and keep smiling!
