Kindness, fairness, caring, trustworthiness, emotional stability, empathy, and compassion are components that make Melissa an exceptional nurse. She can handle a high volume of work, is well-organized, and is fully capable of providing direct patient care for a multitude of diseases. She has demonstrated excellent knowledge and competence in advanced practice nursing and has on several occasions collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the smooth working of the facility. In emergencies, she remains level-headed and in control of the situation.

Melissa recently helped take care of a difficult OB situation in which there was a fetal demise and the mother hemorrhaged. Melissa compassionately provided care to the patient while holding her composure while the patient held and grieved for her baby. Melissa never lost composure during the situation. Melissa always comes and asks if I need anything and is always able to provide me with answers to questions. if she doesn't have the answers, she finds them. My days working with Melissa are some of my favorites.
