In addition, she creates an environment that is fair and unbiased, recognizing individual students. One example, however small, is the fact that Melissa buys stickers that she places on her office door. These are inspirational stickers that help support students when they are having a stressful day. Oftentimes, these stickers include much-needed support and words of encouragement.
