Our dad was admitted to the 4th floor Surgical/Oncology Unit. We have had excellent care from everyone on the floor. Nursing staff is amazing! Melissa stood out the most for her wonderful care and patience dealing with our dad. Our dad, at 87 years old, is sometimes a bear! He is difficult and demanding at times. Melissa was understanding, professional and compassionate. For him, we would highly recommend her for the DAISY Award. We are blessed to have had her! She made us proud to have come to Methodist Hospital.
