My nurse, Melissa, was on top of the situation for my care. There were several things that needed to be completed: 1) shower, 2) dressing changes, 3) biopsy of right foot; 4) linen change. She gave me an update every couple of hours on the situation. I got a few updates but at the end of the day, the biopsy did not happen. And throughout the day she was giving me my insulin, or my meds and all the other items, processes and procedures involved in my care. In the end, she did it all with a smile a mile wide.
