Melissa always arrived at our home with a positive, in control attitude. We felt very comfortable with her decisions at all times. At one time when the patient was struggling with very swollen feet and legs, we were trying many different compression socks and items that might help and be comfortable for him.
One day out of the blue Melissa appeared with a strange tube sock type of item that could be cut to fit. This turned out to be a turning point for the patient, giving him comfort and support. In fact, we have ordered the items and use them exclusively each day. This is a small example of Melissa saving the day. She was always on top of things with a call to a particular doctor each time something needed to be detailed for the best possible diagnosis. Naturally, we could detail many days of our visits with her. We feel privileged to call her an outstanding visiting Nurse in our home. Actually, we looked forward to her visits.
