Melissa Frank, RN has worked for Select Specialty Hospital for 15 years and has devoted most of her career to critically ill patients. She considers nursing to be a "work of the heart" and shows a great amount of empathy and compassion towards her patients. No matter how critical the situation may be, Melissa handles the situation with ease and takes time to not only focus on her patients but her families as well. She was nominated by a family who recently lost a loved one but recognized Melissa's compassion as she helped them through one of the toughest moments in their lives. Melissa spent a great deal of time educating and comforting the patient and her family. Her desire to provide exceptional patient care is witnessed each and every day that she works.
